Strahan

Strahan and the west coast of Tasmania are a truely unique place in the world. The west coast has some of the most rugged and isolated wilderness in Australia and has a remoteness that is difficult to find in many other places. The west coast offers a unique opportunity to see some of the last remaining untouched rainforest in Australia.

West Coast Tasmania

The Gordon River and Franklin River are both found in Western Tasmania. Demonstrating some of Tasmania's most breathtaking and rugged scenery, as well as the beautiful and ancient Huon pines that were once logged and transported down these river systems. There are many ways to explore the Gordon River either by luxurious cruises, or by a more adventurous white-water or kayaking trip.
