Tahune Airwalk

Tahune Airwalk

On our last trip to Tassie we visited the Huon Valley which is about a 1 hour drive south of Hobart. It is a very beautiful part of the island that is famous for it's ancient huon pines (a very slow growing beautiful tree).

The drive down through the Huon Valley was very scenic and we drove through a lot of quaint towns including Huonville and Geeveston.

Another highlight was the Tahune Forest Airwalk near Geeveston which gives you a birdseye view of the beautiful forest and huon pines still growing there.
