Cheap Tasmania Flights and Ferries
There are two ways to get to Tasmania from the mainland of Australia:
1. By sea on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry arriving in Devonport.
2. Or by a flight to Tasmania on domestic airlines arriving in Devonport, Launceston or Hobart.

Spirit of Tasmania
The Spirit of Tasmania ferry sails daily between Melbourne and Devonport. It takes about 10 hours for the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to cross the Bass Strait which is approximately 240 kilometres wide. The ferry has a range of accommodation options ranging from luxury overnight suites with portside cabins, inside cabins or a basic "cruise seat". The Spirit of Tasmania also has a range of restaurants and bars onboard as well as a small casino and cinema.
The major advantage of using the Spirit of Tasmania ferry between mainland Australia and Tasmania is that it enables you to take your car or campervan with you.
